    Was going to put this on Twitter, but can’t fit it all in 140 characters.

    We are filled with sadness because we seem to be failing to communicate a very simple message to many of our customers:

    PLEASE use the special payment form when sending your WU and MG payment details. Failure to do so means your order will not be processed. It will forever be “Waiting for payment..” status.

    The payment form URL is on our web site after you complete your order, it’s also in the email we sent you when you completed the order. It’s also in our FAQ. Yet still far too many people are not using the payment form. This makes us very very sad.

    Just in case you are interested to know why we insist on this, it’s two-fold. One reason is, the form catches any data entry errors and will not allow you to send incorrect or incomplete details. Before we used this form a shocking number of people could not seem to type their correct details and as a result wasted a lot of our time chasing them to get it right. Now the incorrect entries you can count on one hand each month. The other, more important, reason is because now your payment details go directly to the staff who will collect payment. This vastly speeds up the processing of your order, and usually gets your order shipped the same day or next day.

    Remember, don’t submit that form more than once, that’ll immediately delay your order by a day or two because someone else will have to manually follow up with you.

    So everyone: Please carefully read the emails we send you when you place your order. It’s not all boilerplate and they may contain instructions which have changed since your previous order. :)

    Now that we have this shop up open to all customers and running quite smoothly, we will be closing our sister website, www.jwh-018.com, at the end of November. This will allow us to streamline our customer service and fulfillment service through a single shopfront.

    We recommend you check it out while you can as prices are slightly cheaper there, and you can even pay using Paypal. And before anyone asks — no, Paypal is not a payment option here, and it will never be in the future.

    One other thing we’d like to mention. Over the last few months we’ve noticed a lot of look-alike websites, and even several websites which have blatantly stolen our images and text. Recently we even found some websites are using country suffix domain names like “buythemg.xx“.

    We want to make it clear to everyone that there is only ONE website and one domain name under which we do business:

    http://buythemg.com/

    Anyone else claiming or pretending to be us, or even just trying to look like us, is probably going to rip you off.

    Now that we are welcoming new customers semi-regularly these days, we’d like to remind all our customers these following points from our Terms and Conditions:

    • Customers found registering more than one account will risk having all their accounts closed immediately, without notice. Use of multiple email addresses to open new accounts is also not acceptable. Please… one customer, one account.
    • Customers are required to ship to their own address, not to a friend’s house or some other address. If paying via credit card (such as via Alertpay or Moneybookers), your shipping address must also be your billing address.
    • Customers who ship multiple orders to multiple addresses will not be tolerated here. Your account will be closed immediately and any pending orders canceled.

    We apologize if this causes inconvenience for you, but we beleive this is quite reasonable and fair for most of our customers. By enforcing these points, it allows us to offer more payment methods now and in the future.

    We’re nearly finished with our office move, the new office will be up and running in under two weeks. We want to inform our customers that there may be some delays shipping some products during these coming two weeks. We have already shipped all our bulk inventory to the new office about 2500 km away, and although we have kept enough small quantities available at our old office to ship new orders, it’s possible we might run out of some items before we shift to the new office in September. If your order is delayed you will see the status changed to “Pending”. Do not panic, it will ship as soon as our new office opens. We apologize for any delay and we want to reassure you the delay is only temporary. Most customers will not encounter any delays.
