    We’re nearly finished with our office move, the new office will be up and running in under two weeks. We want to inform our customers that there may be some delays shipping some products during these coming two weeks. We have already shipped all our bulk inventory to the new office about 2500 km away, and although we have kept enough small quantities available at our old office to ship new orders, it’s possible we might run out of some items before we shift to the new office in September. If your order is delayed you will see the status changed to “Pending”. Do not panic, it will ship as soon as our new office opens. We apologize for any delay and we want to reassure you the delay is only temporary. Most customers will not encounter any delays.

    After much outcry, we have reinstated EMS for some countries. This may only be temporary – we’ll wait and see if there are any new issues. We have raised the cost of EMS slightly to account for some additional effort we are taking on our end to better ensure delivery. When you place your order and if you don’t see the EMS shipping option available for your country, we’re sorry, but you’re probably better off using Registered Air Mail anyway.

    Also, 2C-C is back in stock.

    Due to numerous complications with EMS we have decided to drop it as a shipping option.

    Basically, EMS is faster shipping, but invariably the parcel will get held up in customs and inspected, often for a week or two, especially in Europe. Sometimes customs rejects it and returns it to us. Sometimes they want to see additional documentation from the recipient. So it’s not really faster, it’s not safer, and it’s certainly not cheaper.

    Most of our customers have experienced no problems with EMS, however your order is actually more likely to arrive safely with Registered Air Mail.

    Please don’t ask us for EMS shipping. You are better off to stay AWAY from EMS!!

    As a favor for those customers who don’t want to have to sign for their mail, we have added regular Air Mail as an option for orders over 100 Euros, but you will still have to pay the same shipping cost as Registered Air Mail – we hope that will encourage you to use Registered Air Mail.

    Until recently we have been pretty good at 12 to 24 hour turnaround in order processing, however we’re finding that as our volume increases that it’s become inefficient for us to try to keep doing that. So, effective 1 February 2009 we will slightly modify our business operations. Now we will ship only every other day. That leaves us with the alternate day to prepare orders for shipping the following day, follow up on emails, and attend to other business matters.

    So how does this affect you? Not a lot, apart from maybe your order taking an extra day to be delivered – at the most. Or if you send payment by Western Union or MoneyGram, it may take us a full day to acknowledge receipt of your payment instead of the same day. But in reality we will always try to get your order processed quickly, and if at all possible your order will go out just as quickly as is has in the past.

    And please note that on weekends, if you place an order, send in payment, or send us a question, we may not get back to you until Monday.
